Before you begin the journey, I’d like to take a few minutes to tell you how Beneath the Olive Tree came about—and why I hope you’ll watch it, use it, and share it with others.

The Idea

What if you could hear the parables as though you were there?

Beneath an ancient olive tree overlooking the Sea of Galilee, an elderly disciple looks back across the years and remembers walking with Jesus and hearing the Master teach.

Across 39 parables, plus the Prologue and Epilogue, Scripture, narration, original music and cinematic imagery invite us to listen again—and ask what Jesus is saying to us today.

This project is about the message. The technology simply provided the tools. The heart of the series is Jesus, His words, and the invitation to hear them again with fresh ears.
